First, it's important to note that two main ports in Athens offer ferry service to Mykonos: Piraeus and Rafina. Piraeus is the larger and more popular port, but Rafina is closer to the Athens airport, so it may be a better option if you're flying into Athens.

Once you've decided which port to depart from, you must choose a ferry company. Several companies offer service between Athens and Mykonos, including Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, and SeaJets. Each company has different schedules and prices, so it's worth doing some research to find the best option for your needs.

In general, ferries from Athens to Mykonos run daily during the peak season (May-September), with fewer options during the off-season. The journey takes between 2.5 and 5 hours, depending on the type of ferry you choose.

Once you arrive in Mykonos, you'll dock at the main port in the town of Chora. From there, you can take a taxi or bus to your hotel or other destination on the island.
